This exceptional owl sculpture, crafted around 1975, is attributed to the esteemed luxury brand Asprey. A carefully selected array of precious materials brings this owl to life. Its entire body is adorned with quartz crystals in varying shapes and sizes, creating a wonderful texture. Larger crystal pieces form the head, imitating the layered effect of ruffled feathers, while also accentuating the legs. Smaller quartz elements embellish the torso and the underside of the wings—areas that may not be immediately visible but still showcase the meticulous attention to detail that defines Asprey’s work. The folded wings are crafted from intricately arranged, finely sculpted silver segments, with a polished surface finish that superbly mimics the soft texture of real feathers. Extending from the legs, the bird’s powerful, curved talons are strikingly lifelike.
