Ben Seibel Stirrup bookends, brass, Jenfred-Ware, Raymor, signed. A very clean pair with original bright warm brass finish with some minor age spotting. Impressed signatures: Jenfred on back lower edges. The undersides are covered with the original green felt and one has a paper label which reads: A Ben Seibel Design Jenfred-Ware. Seibel, after studying painting, sculpture and architecture, set up his own studio in Post- War Manhattan where he worked with a small staff until his death in 1985. He said that the study of sculpture had been one of the most important forces in his approach to design".
