  • Description
Before us unfolds a pair of pharmacy jars in exquisite porcelain, bearing the signature of Le Tallec-an authentic masterpiece that transcends mere artwork. These jars encapsulate a captivating history and timeless beauty.

The dating of these jars takes us back to 1977, a time when Le Tallec's craftsmanship reached its zenith. This date isn't just a point on the timeline but a fragment of history, a signature of the master who shaped these works. The initials etched onto them belong to one of the recognized master craftsmen of the company, confirming their authenticity and unique value.

The jars' decorations transport us to an enchanted world inspired by Chinese style. The skillful use of colors, with golden hues, paints vibrant scenes of Chinese life, with laborers in the fields, ancient buildings, and mythical creatures that meld the essence of dragons with the grace of birds. Each brushstroke is an ode to art and tradition, a tale that unfolds before our eyes.

The exceptional vintage condition of these jars is a tribute to Le Tallec's craftsmanship. They remain intact in their original splendor, preserving the beauty and authenticity of a bygone era. They are true treasures, testaments to an art that defies the passage of time.

Every piece of porcelain signed by the Atelier Camille Le Tallec in Paris bears the "LT" motif in a mark reminiscent of Sèvres elegance. But this mark is more than just a signature; it's a story. Within the "LT" motif, two series of letters reveal secrets: the upper series divulges the production date, while the lower series conceals the initials of the painter who brought the piece to life. This dating system commences in 1941 and evolves over the years, tracing the history of each piece.

It's interesting to note that Le Tallec pieces lacking these marks could date back to the period between 1930 and 1941. Over the years, the dating system has refined itself, with semi-annual updates until 1991 and then annual ones. In 1978, with the relocation of the atelier from Belleville to Rue de Reuilly in Paris, the dates began with the letter "R," marking a fresh beginning. In 1995, with the installation in Avenue Daumesnil in Paris, the dates began with the letter "D," representing another chapter in Le Tallec's history.

In summary, these Le Tallec pharmacy jars are much more than mere works of art; they are testaments to refined artistry and Camille Le Tallec's passion for ceramics. They are windows open to beauty, tradition, and history, an invitation to immerse oneself in the timeless elegance of Le Tallec porcelain.
