My title for this beautiful and excellent condition cast iron doorstop is appropriately called “Floral Arrangement in Green Vase”. I have not seen this before, and it is not noted in any reference book on the subject; so I will call it “scarce”. It is delicately and intricately cast in great detail; in addition, it is attractively painted in vibrant lifelike colors of red, green, blue, pink, yellow, and orange. The doorstop is all original, no repairs, no repaint–simply a gorgeous condition, great looking piece. Looking realistic, resting in a green vase, weighing a hefty 6+ pounds, and being quite rare and in this condition, “Floral Arrangement in Green Vase” would be highly sought after by discerning collectors—–a wonderful piece of Americana.
