Description
Chris Collins is a sculptor and found object artist living and working in Los Angeles.
As far back as he can remember, he has been a collector of things. From rocks and insects as a child, to boxes of broken technological objects today, he has been attracted to objects that inspire curiosity and wonder. Over time, his artistic practice has utilized this process of collecting and re-presenting.
These are botanical specimens collected in the woods and deserts of the Southwest, particularly New Mexico.
Each is a piece unique.
Magnolia pods, bottle tree pod, jacaranda leaf.
Prices vary from $125.00-$250.00

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago. From a longstanding interest in art and design, frequent buying trips to France and Italy have influenced the direction of the gallery to offer items that are not easily sourced in Chicago and United States. Postwar design has been the focus for 18 yrs and we also look forward to new design that crosses boundaries and dialogues as well to the past
