Daum Nancy French Decorative Glass Vase
-
Description
Stunning vase made of transparent Miurano glass in the 1950s designed by the French designer Nancy Daum.
The vase has a flattened oval-shaped body, at the base the effect of water seems to have been recreated, very elegant and exuberant.
Moving up towards the stopper, the spout narrows and houses its stopper, a top decorative piece. The stopper is made with a transparent glass base, so that when it is inserted it cannot be seen, above it is a basic round golden metal structure around which a little orange resin monkey, matted, seems to cling. The little monkey is on the left and leans on the cap as if it were showing itself with one arm, while its hind legs and tail cling to a branch, again in the same material and colour.
The vase is truly a splendid decorative element, not to be missed in homes with a classic taste. -
