Dept. 56 "The Farmer's Co-op Granary" From "The Snow Village" Plus 2 Accessories

Offered are (3) highly collectible Department 56 Christmas Village items.
1) "The Farmer's Co-op Granary" was one of the buildings issued in 1998 as part of the "Original Snow Village" and has since been retired (year 2000). It is hand crafted and in near mint original condition with no chips, no repairs, and comes with its original packing materials and lithographed box included. It is very colorful with a lot going on, more visual through the interior bulb which lights it up to accent the interior. Obviously this is a flour mill producing "Rock Creek Enriched Flour" as the shop sign indicates on the building. Colorful entries and windows are hand painted in green, red, white and beige, while factory embellishments compliment this unique building known as product # 54946 (stamped on the underneath.

Dimensions: 9 1/2" high x 7 3/4" wide x 6" deep.
Box is 10 3/4" high x 8 3/4" wide x 7 3/4" deep.

2) Accessory piece; Department 56 "Village Express Van" from the Heritage Village Collection; introduced in 1994 and since retired. This is a delivery vehicle with Christmas presents in tow on the roof of the van which is hand painted in green with white lettering "On Time Delivery Since 1976", and multi colored boxed gifts to the roof; great detail (see images). Hand painted and hand crafted, it is in all original, just about mint condition with original packaging and box.

3) Accessory piece: Department 56 "City Police Car"; "Christmas in The City Series". Issued in 1998; retired in 2001. Hand painted in black and white, the roof top siren/light on this hand crafted ceramic police car will light up (two AAA batteries required).
it is in all original, just about mint condition with original packaging and box.

Department 56 was established in 1976 with the intent of creating decorative winter and Christmas themed scenes that light up so that collectors could decorate their homes and businesses for the holidays.
Although Department 56 is an American Company all of their items, since their inception in 1976, were made overseas.
