Elegant and dramatic pair of French late Art Deco (1930s-1940s) firedogs in hand-wrought iron evoking a mythical human quality present in the work of Diego Giacometti. These pieces are timeless and embrace all genres from neoclassical to modern.
In addition to the two andirons, there are two cross braces for support of and bracing of logs and one fire tool to re-arrange logs. The fire tool mounts between the two andirons (see photo 1). - More Information
