Don Shoemaker for Señal Bookends in Solid Cocobolo
-
Description
A pair of solid wood bookends by Mexican-American designer Don Shoemaker for his company, Señal. Rendered in highly figured cocobolo wood, a species of local tropical wood with a similar look and grain patter at brazilian rosewood, the bookends showcase a dynamic grain pattern and the natural beauty of the wood’s irregularities. Open up the bookend and their is a dramatic live edge show caseing the "heart wood" of the cocobolo tree. These are very large and heavy.
