Description
Possibly Harris and Company, New York, ca. 1890-1900. Full body molded copper, cast zinc feet, sheet copper with original gilt surface. Excellent condition, evenly worn. The large-scale eagle weathervane has out-stretched wings perched on a sphere above an arrow. This popular eagle form was manufactured by several prolific companies, such as Fiske and Co, Washburne, Harris and Company and Cushing and White.
