    Eagle Weathervane Perched on Sphere
    American, possible Fiske and Co, New York.
    Ca. 1875-1890.
    Full body molded copper, zinc feet.
    Over-all in excellent condition, few minor areas of resoldering at seams of wings. Exceptional verdigris surface with faint traces of original gilt.
    This earlier form of an eagle with outstretched wings is proudly perched on a sphere. It remains in a wonderful state of preservation.
