Paint Decorated Dough Trough
American, New York or possibly Pennsylvania.
Wood, polychrome paint decorated.
Exceptional condition, original throughout.
Provenance: Peter Tillou, Litchfield, CT; James and Nancy Glazer, Bailey’s Island, Maine, 1997.
Based on the pristine condition of the original paint decoration, we assume this diminutive size dough trough was a presentation piece.
