-
Description
Rare large ceramic Art deco fluted round box by Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy made around 1930. This beautiful box features a colourful vase with flowers. The cream beige features Longwy's signature craquelure glaze. The Longwy manufacture has hundreds of years of tradition, their golden age is clearly the 1920s and 1940s when the cloisonné technique reached a creative Art deco peak. A collectible piece, with a nice vintage presence, found in a very good vintage condition. Perfect as a gift, it can be used as a ring or jewellery box.
