    A French carved walnut putto feeding a swan sculpture from the late 19th century, with marble base. Created in France during the last quarter of the 19th century, this walnut sculpted group features a chubby putto laying on his side and extending his left arm to feed a swan. Both are resting on a folded fabric while the ensemble is supported by a white stepped marble base. With its mythological subject and great patina, this French carved walnut putto an swan sculpture circa 1880 will be an excellent decorative addition to any home, perhaps displayed atop a credenza, buffet or console table.
