  • Description
A fabulous French gold-gilt barometer from the beginning of the 19th century. This early instrument of meteorology has been adorned with an extraordinary wreath crest with carved laurel leaves, a plane, saw, and measuring sticks. The face has hand-painted numbers, compass rose, and lettering with a brilliant blue background. A smart addition to any space, this lustrous gold gilt antique elevates a room’s status to the next echelon of style.
