French Early 20th Century Baguette Cart

Description
An excellent French bakery or baguette basket from the early part of the 20th century, France. The tall metal basket has two handles and rolls on large caster wheels for easy movement. The bottom is made of wooden slats that have been slowly patinated over time, as loaves were loaded and unloaded. The tall carts allowed many long baguettes to be transported (vertically) about without the fear of breaking one of the staple loaves. A charmingly curious antique that could be up-cycled for any number of purposes.
