French pair 18th Century Louis XV period “silver form” candlesticks with octagonal flaring stems, candle cups, cushioned & faceted knops, rising from stepped octagonal bases. They originally were silvered but with so many polishes over the years, the silver has worn away. There are still traces of silver on the underside.
