On offer for your consideration we have a stunningly beautiful Neoclassical double handle vase/urn.
This large decorative silver plated vase was designed by Georg Roth & Co. and made by Hanauer Silberwaren-Manufaktur in Hanau, Germany. The time period for this piece is between 1891-1906. Most examples of Georg Roth's work was in the Neoclassical style which were some of the most beautiful pieces created. Some of the most beautiful architecture is Germany is in the Neoclassical style.
The central area of the vase is decorated with allegorial seen of lady's with their attendants, a bacchanalia vignette of a lady and two cherubs and the three graces dancing: one holding a tambourine, the other hold a cup of wine.
the vase is covered in acanthas leaves, scrolls, flowers, rosettes, two doves with olive branches and to top this piece there two classic woman each holding wine urn.
This piece originally came out of a grand villa in Hanau Germany.
This extraordinary work of art will work with any decor. -
