Description
Rare Edwardian Classical sterling silver box. Made by George Henry Cowell in London in 1908. Rectangular with spread base and hinged cover. Cover top had beaded scrollwork mounted with jewels in curvilinear cabled surround; central rondel with hinged and glazed cover. Imbricated leaf and berry borders. Cedar-lined interior. Underside leather lined. Fully marked. Very good condition.
