Aesthetic sterling silver basket. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1874. Oval bowl on domed foot. Strap handle buckled to loop mounts threaded with calla lilies that wrap around basket rim and overlap engraved and stippled leafing branches. Exterior butler finished. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date letter, and no. 647. Very good condition.
