Description
A sculptural ceramic vessel by Italian designer Guido Gambone (1909-1969) circa 1950s. The stoneware of dove shape is an open vessel in form. The surface is decorated with geometrical aubergine glazed lines with a subtle zigzag in contrast with surface left blank. It may be displayed as a center piece, a functional vase or simply as a sculpture. It is signed Gambone / Italy on the bottom with the donkey insignia.
