Guido Gambone vase, ceramic, yellow, stripes, signed. Large scale hand thrown pottery vase glazed in yellow, pale green, and eggplant horizontal stripes. Signed with "Gambone Italy" with donkey mark on the underside. Retains a small foil label from the Copenhagen retailer, Illums Bolighus. Gambone (1909 – 1969) is one of the most important and influential Italian ceramicists of the mid 20th century.
