Late 19th c.
Full body copper, copper tubing
Condition: Exceptional surface; traces of yellow sizing with verdigris, minor pellet dents.
This “Hackney” trotting horse is successful for its design and strong pose, showing more muscular detail in its chest. The piece is further desirable for its condition and dry, crisp surface. -
