    A hat rack from the Merrimac Hat factory in Amesbury, Massachusetts dating from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century.
    An artifact from the factory system that was built up along the rivers of New England for their source of transportation and hydro power
    Very sculptural in its construction.
    It is missing some of its hat supports and has a bound support but overall is in good condition.
    A functional minimalist sculpture from the American Industrial revolution.
