A very highly detailed anatomical female model. These rare models were hand made in Germany by Louis M. Meusel in Sonneberg, Germany around 1920. This model is mounted on a wooden base, with the maker's label attached. These were beautifully hand created in paper mache, wood, plaster and hand painted. There are 22 detachable body parts layered and intertwined. These very realistic models were used in medical schools to teach about the internal structure of the human body. Exceptional quality and condition.
