    English, ca. 1795-1815.
    Mahogany, various wood for inlays.
    Over-all in great condition, center interior lid possibly early replacement, minor imperfections.
    A wonderful example of a formal tea caddy exuberantly inlaid with a conch shell on the top, floral and urn patterns on the front and pateras on the sides all surrounded by banding and alternating pattern inlays. The interior is fitted with three lidded compartments with an inlaid patera and banding on the underside of the lid.
