Description
An impressive and intricately carved solid ebony stationery box with fully fitted satinwood interior; Anglo-Indian, circa 1850. With carved floral motifs on all sides, two doors over a single drawer, the interior of the doors with carved shield motifs surrounded by leaves and berries. The interior satinwood dividers are pierced along the upper edges with an undulating wave-like pattern.
