Description
A pair of forged iron andirons having elongated fluted pomegranate tops in polished bronze surmounted by four-sided maidenhead finials, on a short tapered and hand-hammered iron shafts and standing on scrolled feet with spiral underscrolls. Italy, circa 1800. Back of one finial top sheared off (see photo).
