Italian Baroque Style Late 19th Century Fruitwood Wall Bracket with Carved Putto
-
Description
An Italian Baroque style fruitwood wall bracket from the late 19th century, with carved putto figure. Born in Italy during the later years of the 19th century, this fruitwood bracket attracts our attention with its carved putto whose body ends into a scroll. His nicely detailed face is flanked by his two arms that are lifted up to carry the plateau on which a decorative object, such as a vase or candlestick could be displayed. With its skillfully executed decor and dark patina, this late 19th century Italian Baroque style fruitwood wall console will be a great decorative addition to any wall.
