This handsome man - casted in bronze - was created in the 1930s by Jean de Roncourt who was renowned for capturing human strength and determination, especially that of laborers and athletes. This Fisherman is a classic example of the elegancy and styled lines of the Art Deco period. De Roncourt was able to create a satisfying balance between realism and artistic interpretation. Jean was clearly a romantic! Get a grip on this beautiful and sturdy boy!
