Boston, Massachusetts, dated 1836
Leather, iron, rope, original paint, bucket: 12 inches in height, diameter 8 ½ inches. Spread-wing eagle with shield, inscribed “No. 2,” “1836,” “JOSHUA STAPLES.” With expected wear and in-use repair to original handle.
