This distinctive Brutalist style vase for Kumela is designed by Finnish artist Kaj Blomgvist. The amazing design of a deep beautiful gradating blue and ice textured protrusions is achieved by a unique mold blown glass technique. Blomgvist achieves a strong contrast with structure versus material as there are Brutalist textures produced in a delicate material like glass. This truly special vase is captivating with powerful pops of color and form while still accomplishing a sense of sleekness.
