A fun and colored single-flower modern vase by Swedish glass master Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, limited Edition n.48on 75. Etched with the artist's signature and details under the base. This vase (that can be accompanied by a taller item 1075PB) shows one of Bertil's favored juxtapositions of a bubble rounded form with a rectangular shape. The vase presents a uniform rich mellow yellow color on the top and the under part with a reeded handle is in a variegated blue and green on clear. The permeability of light plays with the decor in colors, adding fun movement to the shape.
Bertil Vallien (born in 1938 in a suburb north of Stockholm) is an acclaimed artist who has exhibited with great success all over the world. His work is represented in many collections and prestigious Swedish and international museums.
