Large Roman Amphora resting on a neoclassical iron tripod stand with patinated bronze Medusa medallions and lion paws feet. The Amphora dates back to the Roman Empire era and is set in a grand tour stand dating back to the late eighteen or early nineteen century. A true museum piece.

Origin: Italy Period: Pre 18th Century Condition: Distressed. The ceramic amphora as suffered aging cracks and has been repieced in some areas, all the pieces are original.
