Larry Mohr Sculpture Bars XXVI: Adjustable Solid aluminum bars connected by bolts.
Signed, titled, dated, and numbered to base ‘Bars XXVI 1/5 6/19/83 Larry Mohr’. This work is number 1 from the edition of 5.
Larry Mohr (1921-2013) was an accomplished sculptor whose figural and abstract works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Georgia Museum of Art, Vassar College, and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University. Mohr was renowned for his large-scale bronze and aluminum sculptures made of welded and bolted I-beams. -
