Large French Gilt Bronze Box "Pinocchio" by Line Vautrin

Description
A rare cast gilt bronze box "Pinocchio" by French Parisian art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997). The elongated lidded box depicts a silouette portrait of the famous boy. The interior is lined with an enamel coated slip. The base is signed as shown. A relatively large and less seen piece by the artist.
