Lino Sabattini was an Italian artist. He worked at a brassware store, where he also learned metalworking techniques. At the age of 30 he moved to Milan, where he opened a small workshop , equipped with some tools essential to his work. He intensified ties with Gio' Ponti's "Domus" magazine and met architects and students who were students of the designer. A friendship began between Gio' Ponti and Sabattini, which led them to collaborate at the Milan Triennials, Venice Biennials, in a number of publications in magazines around the world and in solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 1964 he became an entrepreneur of his own ideas, creating Argenteria Sabattini.
