Pair of Italian marble and bronze obelisks Crabs -Grand Tour collection- produced by Lorenzo Ciompi, 2018. Designed, produced and executed directly in exclusivity for Compendio Gallery on limited edition of 10. Breccia mediacea marble, bronze details. All the bronze details was made expressly from a important roman bronzist from original cast model by Bottega Valadier ,end XVIII° century, peak cover, crabs, four bronze pedestial in a shape of turtles, verso base, others details very good gold bronze patina Edition 2 of 10 Measures: H 43,5 cm, 13 x 13 cm.

Lorenzo Ciompi is a private collector with a wide experience in Italian design achieved starting from the beginning of the 90's. His collection includes famous items designed by Gio Ponti as well as other well-known Italian designers such as Ico Pairisi, Osvaldo Borsani, Carlo De Carli , Carlo Mollino, Melchiorre Bega, Joe Colombo. A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
