Beautiful French decorative box designed by Maria Pergay for Hermès Paris in the 1970s. This red lacquered and brass jewellery box features a beautiful brass belt buckle on the top, with an interior covered with mahogany wood , with three compartments. The mix of red and brass is so chic. It is heavy and made to stay, a quality to be expected from Hermès. Hermès Paris, Made In France stamped under. A collectible piece, perfect as a gift, with a very nice decorative presence, fully restored, and found in a very good vintage condition.
