Two of the most elegant and important ceramic works of Vallauris artist, Marius Musarra (France, 1910-1991). These French midcentury sculptures or vases are incredible decorative objects transposing dramatic size with pure, sober, timeless form. They encompass neoclassical and modern history. In 1988, Musara was the winner of the International Biennale of contemporary ceramics, the top pottery prize in the world. Sizes are: H 31.5 x D 8 and H 23.25 x D 10. Signed on bottom "Marius Musarra, Mabyjo, Vallauris".
