On offer for your consideration we have a wonderful numbered 2/20 bronze of a sitting bull. This delightful small bronze was designed and made by American sculptor Michael Lantz (1908-1988).
He attended the National Academy of Design and the Beaux-Arts Institute of Design as an instructor for the WPA he won a competition to create two statues for the Federal Trade Commission Building in Washington D.C.
His models that he submitted for the competition are now in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
This bronze purchased by us directly from Michael Lantz who was a good friend. -
