Luminous sculpture in solid bronze "Fleur d'or" by the Atelier Michel Armand. Canada: circa 1980 Michel Armand Incorporation is a Canadian company. It was founded in 1978 and ceased operations in 1986. The directors were Robert Martin and Michel Dumas. It is likely that one of these two people is the designer, or both. It was a small company with no more than 7 employees. Much of Atelier Michel Armand's production was exported to Europe in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The company produced high-quality, limited-edition sculpted bronze light fixtures. Provenance: Private collection of Robin Dery Montreal, purchased from the collection of a former employee of the Atelier Michel Armand in Montreal.
