Minton Majolica vase which features exotic birds, a butterfly, peonies, lotus flowers and dragon handles. This pattern is catalogued by Minton as 'Indian'. Minton blue ground version. Colouration: green, blue, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '202'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1873.
