    Minton Majolica figural which features two putti carrying a shell. One draped in grapes, the other draped in wheat. Colouration: green, turquoise, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '365'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.

    Condition: Generally Good. Two small, shallow chips to the vine leaves. KILN EFFECTS: a piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the shell. RESTORATION. Both heads reglued and join retouched. Small part of shell reglued and join retouched.
