Minton Majolica flower holder which features a scallop shell supported by seaweed on a rocky base. Coloration: cream, brown, green, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1560'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.
