Nan Nan Liu's sterling silver sculpture reflects her creative interest in natural forms and energies. In this profoundly dynamic and kinetic example of her work, shaped wires have been individually hammered and hand-soldered together to create a winding, curving final form. Her principal source of inspiration is nature, particularly the repetitive patterns and flowing forms that water and air can take, and the emotional response it can evoke.
