Pair of German parcel gilt silver rooster figures, ca 1930. Tensions run high with cawing beaks, flapping wings, and raised talons. Shaggy neck and flouncy, quivering tail plumes. A barnyard brawl right in the center of the dinner table. Marked “Sterling” with country of production (Germany), no. 9, and stamp for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd in England. Very good condition with deep patina.
