RARE GENTLEMAN VALET BY PAUL DUPRE LAFON FOR HERMES
Rare Mahogany gentleman's valet by Paul Dupré Lafon for Hermès. The coat hanger and foldable shelf covered in black stitched leather, also fitted with two polished brass tie hooks and the base fitted with a polished brass shoe rack. Paul Dupré Lafon was know in Paris to be the architect/decorator of the millionaires. He mostly custom made orders, commissions and works and closely collaborated with Hermes leather to make leather covered items. France: circa 1935
