Unique complex monumental masterwork "Mother and Child" in hand-brazed bronze with painted enamels on a solid marble base by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1968 (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne ‘68”). Philip & Kelvin’s most important works are their unique sculptures. Both LaVernes were highly trained artists and sculptors, inspired by art, music, history, nature, mythology and love. This work represents the immutable bond between a mother and her child. It’s simply incredible.
