    Last quarter 19th c.
    Painted tin, carved walnut.
    Over-all in fine condition, untouched surface with some losses, missing corner elements.
    Provenance: From the collection of Al Selnick, Hillsdale, New York; Jeffrey Tillou Antiques, 2001.
    This rare, double-sided “Picture Frames” trade sign depicts two different landscape views on each side, painted on tin set inside a carved wood frame.
